This setup means you can handle both civil and criminal court business at one location. The GA court processes arraignments, misdemeanors, and traffic violations. Hartford County Online Docket Search

Two main tools let you search Hartford County court docket records from your computer. The Civil/Family Case Look-up covers civil, family, housing, and small claims cases. You search by party name, docket number, or attorney. Results include the case caption, filing date, court location, case type, and current status. You can click into any result to see the full docket, which lists every filing and court action in order.

The Criminal/Motor Vehicle Case Look-up handles the other side. It shows convictions, pending criminal cases, daily court schedules, and attorney case lists. Conviction data stays visible for up to 10 years after sentencing, per Practice Book 7-13. Hartford County has a high volume of criminal cases given its population, so this tool gets heavy use. The daily docket feature is helpful if you want to see what cases are scheduled at G.A. 14 in Hartford or G.A. 12 in Manchester on a specific date.

Both tools are free. No registration is needed. The state does not charge for basic online docket searches. Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act under C.G.S. 1-200 supports the public's right to access these records. You do not need to state a reason for your search.
